Gazing through painted arches, the viewer is transported back in time to turn-of-the century Steubenville.

After the mural was completed, an old photograph was discovered which depicted a wood structure with three arches similar to the architectural design in the mural. History seemed to be repeating itself, as the original had been built to celebrate the town’s centennial over 100 years earlier.
